Broadmoor Storage Solutions
announces its opening in West Pasco. This new self-storage facility,
specializing in premium quality RV and boat storage, isn’t your typical self-storage
business. Its unique design features
accompanied by a strong commitment to customer service sets the facility apart
from other storage facilities in the area.
The 70,000 sq. ft. facility, located off of I-182
and Broadmoor Blvd,
offers a large array of storage options with over 220 storage spaces available. It’s indoor, heated RV and boat storage area
will accommodate large RVs up to 45’ in length.
Individual RV bays come complete with remote door openers. Self-storage features include a variety of
sizes from 5’x9’ to 12.5’x40’ with the options of drive-up, indoor, or
climate controlled units. All the units
are individually alarmed and more than 30 security cameras record activity in
the access controlled facility around the clock. The facility’s store offers unique and
practical moving and packing supplies, including boxes and other items designed
to make moving easier. The beautifully
landscaped facility is spacious in which even the largest RV or moving truck
have plenty of room to maneuver. Music
is piped in and plays throughout the facility

The
green friendly facility was built in two construction phases using recycled or
recyclable material as often as possible. Energy efficiency
was a priority throughout the design process.
Concrete rather than asphalt was used in paving to decrease the usage of
petroleum based materials. The unique lighting system was tied directly into
the security system so the lights automatically turn on when the doors of the
units are opened. Energy efficient
florescent lighting was used in the aisle ways.
The first
phase, completed in December of 2007, features 36,000 sq. ft. of indoor, heated
RV and boat storage as well as premium indoor self-storage units. The building’s original design as an ice rink
left it with thick, insulated walls, and keeps blowing dust to a minimum. The temperature remains even and moderate
whether the outside thermometer reads a single digit or triple digits.
The
recently completed second phase adds an additional 34,000 sq. ft of storage
space in a wide variety of options and sizes, again designed with the customer
in mind.

The design includes room for future expansion. In the works are two additional phases of construction
that will add 18,400 sq. ft. of storage space.
